Bugzilla – Bug 14110
iTunes 9 may have changed Sound Check
Last modified: 2012-02-27 17:33:03 UTC
I encoded 2 test tracks to MP3 and ALAC and the scanner correctly picked up the iTunNORM Sound Check data. From what I can tell Apple didn't change anything. Steven you might be interested in checking this out. See the forum post for more info.
Created attachment 6327 [details] MP3 with SoundCheck ITUNNORM This is a file which has a SoundCheck value shown in iTunes 9, but this tag is not scanned in SS (7.4.2). Seems only to affect MP3 files. My Apple Lossless files show a Volume Adjustment in SS, but MP3 files like this do not.

what does that mean, "only one comment"?
I meant if there was only one comment tag present. Usually iTunes files have multiple iTun* comments, that's why this wasn't seen earlier.
