Please add a "Free" apps category in the App Gallery pull-down.

The general consensus from marketing is that it's important to add-this despite not being able to localize it before launch.

Uh, no?

We need more information on this.  What would be in the "free" category?  Everything?  (All the apps are free!)  Why was it asked for?  Etc.

They're not all free services, many required paid accounts. It's conceivable that a user would want to see all the apps that are actually free e.g. apps which are not merely a ticking time-bomb free-trial which they'll later have to pay for a service.

Anyone with an iPhone or iPod touch has done this in the apps browser.

Can't add new reqs to this release at this late date. I am retargeting for Joplin and we can prioritize appropriately for that release.
