Bugzilla – Bug 14045
Excessive volume changing on top of clock SS can crash jive with OOM error
Last modified: 2009-10-05 14:30:34 UTC
Most likely cause is that the SS is frequently redrawing in this case and generating too many Lua objects to be gc'd in time before memory runs out. Simplest fix (and probably the better behavior) is to stop keeping the SS up when volume is being changed. This behavior was probably there for when the NP SS really acted like a SS (would be disengaged) but now, NP SS action is to just bring up the non-SS NP screen (see bug 12002).
== Auto-comment from SVN commit #7577 to the jive repo by tom == == https://svn.slimdevices.com/jive?view=revision&revision=7577 == Fixed Bug: 14045 - disengage SS during popup activities (volume, scanner). THis doesnt' affect NP SS since it doesnt' really run in SS mode.
