Bugzilla – Bug 14023
Audit SC Server Control Panel
Last modified: 2011-11-06 23:25:05 UTC
If a user selects "use itunes", must the user also declare a path? In my own experimenting, I think the scanner just looks for the Music folder (not even itunes/music). Since iTunes is the most common library, maybe the use itunes check box should be moved above the path fields. Then the s/w should auto fill the path where it expects to find itunes on that system. If the user wants to change it, they can. Also, what is behavior if user checks "use itunes" but then points to a non-iTunes music directory or doesn't even have iTunes installed?
Michael: Can you comment on this
Use iTunes is good enough. No path needed. iTunes should be enabled by default, no change needed by the user (if iTunes is installed on the computer). If the user points the music folder to a different folder, he'll have the best of both worlds: iTunes integration _and_ files not available in iTunes. Matt Weldon to comment on the confusingness of this design.
I am going to re-examine Squeezebox Server UI. The design will probably revert to the design proposed in the summer onsite (which Michael and I both wanted to do but got vetoed).
moving current p2 bugs to p3 to make room for moving p1.5 bugs to p2
Administrative move of 7.5 bugs. All P2, P3, P4 being downgraded one level. Will then split P1s.
Matt Weldon doesn't work for us any more.
Unassigned bugs cannot have a priority.
