In "Full" display mode, you know how there's an option to have a specrum
analyzer in the background? I'd like the option for a background image that
shows the progress of the current song as an alternative to the visualizer. For
example, if the current song is 25% completed, the left 1/4 of the screen would
have a lighter background behind the text than the right 75%, which would have a
black background behind the text. (I know I can see song progress in standard
display mode, but that mode is too fine to read at a distance.)

All new Squeezebox products are likely to be based on the SqueezePlay platform.
We do not plan to implement any further enhancements to the ip3k firmware or
which are targeted specifically at ip3k-based products.
