Bugzilla – Bug 14009
AAC stream crashes Radio
Last modified: 2009-10-05 14:29:47 UTC
The following RT stream consistently causes Radio to reboot a few seconds after trying to start the stream. http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?id=s25876&formats=aac,mp3,wma,wmpro,wmvoice,wmvideo,ogg&partnerId=16
Andy: is this a software (RT) issue or hardware issue?
This is an AACplus stream (http://208.80.52.236/ESPNRADIOAACCMP3), I think the new AAC code doesn't work right. I also get a lockup trying to play an iTunes Plus AAC file.
This is working here fine with my local build, both the radio stream and my test aacplus files. QA can you test this when the next firmware (a clean build from trunk) is tested.
For me, the reboot is 100% reproducible with that RT stream on r7526 on PVT2 hardware.
Ok, now I can reproduce.
