Description Pat Ransil 2009-09-11 10:13:09 UTC
Manufacturing has intermittent failures testing the nav knob and ambient light sensor in the MP2 release. Failure rate was about 2% (see attachment) for encoder and 20% to 30% for ambient light sensor test.

Caleb found a bug in the microcontroller software that explains both bugs.

Test results from SZ.

Ten units were tested 60 times each. There were a total of 3 failures. This rate (3/600=0.5%) is less than earlier testing on the line (4 of 156).

Moving old Baby bugs to new group. Most of these are probably so old as to be invalid.
