"removing favorite" not going away, and breadcrumb sample.

Using default skin, from Trackinfo page

1) Link initially shows "Save" as text. This isn't very descriptive, and the
heart icon is a good distance away so it's not immediately associated.

2) once clicking on the link, the "show briefly" feedback doesn't return to
trackinfo.

3) breadcrumb shows >> both for saving to and removing from favorites.

Comment 3 KDF 2009-09-10 11:20:59 UTC
When the item is a favorite, the link shows "Remove from Favorites" which makes good sense and save string should be more like that.
Comment 4 KDF 2009-09-10 11:28:12 UTC
The Heart icon is also showing up during mouseover for every line of the trackinfo. It seems odd, moreso when the line is a link for something else, like Amazon or the "Share on Facebook". If clicked, it doesn't even work or get updated unless it's the proper favorites line.
Comment 5 Michael Herger 2009-09-10 12:00:45 UTC
Andy - would this be the Preset feature from the trackinfo menu?
Comment 6 Andy Grundman 2009-09-10 12:01:58 UTC
Not preset-related, this is just the somewhat-annoying 'feature' where you can favorite almost any URL.
Comment 7 KDF 2009-09-10 12:39:08 UTC
for the save link, perhaps the PLUGIN_FAVORITES_SAVE token is a better choice
for web UI, as is uses "Save to Favorites" for EN

Bug: 13953
Description: hide non-playable apps from web remote's main menu.

I'm not sure this is the right way to do things, as eg. mixed services like Queen don't show up any more.

Andy - could we be a bit smarter in XMLBrowse (or whatever)?
Comment 9 Michael Herger 2009-09-11 01:41:04 UTC
Oops... that was the wrong bug.

Description: use better _SAVE string instead of _ADD
Comment 11 Michael Herger 2009-09-11 02:39:17 UTC
Andy - it's more than just a favorites issue. All menu items of type=link seem to expose this problem (eg. "On ..." menus). It's a generic XMLBrowser hell issue...
Comment 12 Michael Herger 2009-09-14 01:52:58 UTC
Not a P1.

I'm sorry, applying new targeting guidelines
