Bugzilla – Bug 13887
1 and 0 keys on remote don't initially enter 1 and 0
Last modified: 2009-10-05 14:31:11 UTC
When entering my WPA2 key, I just noticed that the first press of the 1 key on the remote doesn't enter a 1. Instead it enters !, then repeated presses cycle through punctuation before finally reaching 1. Maybe this is deliberate, but I found it confusing, given that the only thing printed on the remote key is 1. Just noticed that the 0 key also enters a space initially, rather than 0.
The behavior should be the same as IP3K, Tom to investigate and fix
1 was inconsistent with ip3k. 1 should be first, and the other order of other "1" characters was wrong also. 0 on SP/ip3k is "space then 1", since space is more commonly needed during text entry. for wpa2 key entry 1 might be more common, but to try to keep some consistency, we will stick with "space then 1" for all text input.
