Description campus 2009-09-03 14:10:18 UTC
Currently the receiver does not do anything when pressing the front button after it had lost the connection or the computer running the squeezecenter had been rebooted. Instead it should always try to play something. I have configured my receivers to pause and resume on pressing the button so my wish would be the following order:

1. Try to resume first. If not possible
2. Try to restart the current song. If not possible
3. Restart the playlist.

Thanks,
Campus

PS. I am running SC Version: 7.3.3 - 27044 on Netgear RAIDiator - i686-linux

If you have an active playlist, this should happen already.

QA to verify in 7.4

Unfortunately it doesn't work this way in my installation. I just need to remove the power and restart the receiver and the button stops working.

I just retested this with 7.4 and the problem still exists with the latest release.

I just retested this with 7.5 and the problem still exists with the latest release.
Please fix this problem as it makes the receiver unusable in places where the remote is not around, for example in the bathroom in the morning.
It's such an annoying bug.

Is there anything I could test on my side to give you more information?
