Description rlb 2009-08-31 22:29:29 UTC
Since I first set it up, the receiver has occasionally lost the
connection to the server and the front panel light has switched to
blue. When this happens, it appears that the only network traffic to
or from the receiver (seen via tcpdump) are UDP broadcast packets on
port 3483. Since the receiver is on a separate subnet from the
server, the packets can't serve any purpose. Restarting the server
doesn't help, but restarting the receiver fixes the problem.

I haven't figured out what causes the connection loss, though it seems
like it might be related to the server finishing a playlist, or
possibly just the passage of time.

Thanks, and please let me know if I can provide further information.

Could QA please try to reproduce. I guess the special thing here is SBR being on a different subnet.

Could you give me a rundown of your network topology?
