Description Mickey Gee 2009-08-28 13:53:35 UTC
On battery-only PVT unit and firmware 7307, when the battery is low the screen displays the Battery Low screen and then automatically powers off after a few seconds.

When the auto power off occurs, I hear the Goodbye music but I do not see the Goodbye screen.

Weldon: do we have assets for this yet? if not we need to get some, then pass them to Ben.
Comment 2 Weldon Matt 2009-08-28 16:20:00 UTC
James: (After today Please assign Squeezeplay-related bugs to noah, and cc-Seth. I'll be on vacation.

I believe the behavior for this should be the same as controller? ("please charge" - type icon in the center of the screen)
Comment 3 ndijulio 2009-08-28 16:49:30 UTC
Yes, assets exist. The same interstitial (black-out) screen would be used in this case. The exact screen occurs on Contoller.

This bug should be assigned to a member of the engineering team.
Comment 7 ndijulio 2009-08-31 16:44:39 UTC
Richard - Can you assign this appropriately. I believe this is a problem of implementation and not design. Please reassign if not the case.
Comment 8 Richard Titmuss 2009-09-01 01:21:53 UTC
The bug here is that you should not get the shutdown sound effect, it should just turn off quietly as no user action caused it to turn off.

This is still work-in-progress, part of bug 12419.
