Description Sue Chastain 2009-08-26 09:32:10 UTC
You used to be able to just turn wheel a nudge if the screen saver kicked in when you didn't want it. Now that doesn't work and you have to use the back button. Usually when you are browsing a menu or reading a screen, your finger is already on the wheel so it is more convenient to break out of screensaver with the wheel.

Version: 7.4 - r28276
Controller r7262

If you're talking about Now Playing, that's a design change in 7.4 and intentional behavior. Back arrow now takes you back.

All other screensavers should exit on moving the scroll wheel.

Reopen if you're seeing this behavior outside of Now Playing.

Yes, I meant now playing. Thanks for the explanation. I'll get used to it.

If it makes you feel any better I wasn't psyched about the change either. Alongside this change though, NP behaves much more sanely in other ways.
