Description Melvin 2009-08-25 16:29:50 UTC
I have a local debian squeezecenter running. THis is named "ns2". When I go to -> Home -> My Music -> Music Folder, I get the message : "SWITCH LIBRARY - You have made a selection that will connect to a different library."

Here it only allows to switch the library to mysqueezebox.com. If I want to load my own music I will have to select this option. Then press the back button. Go to switch library and select my local "ns2" library. Now I can acually see my library.

I figure that it shouldn't require you to try to connect, stop , switch and reconnect to view your own squeezecenter library.

What is the firmware version on your controller?
Is the server running at the time you see this error?

The server is certainly running. It's accessible via HTTP and the music continues to play. Next to that; using the steps above I can always access it. It just takes a few additional steps.

Concerning the version. The daily update just executed. The version is now 7.4.0-r7262. THe problem remains on this firmware.

I can give SSH access to the controlle if that'd help.

Ross: can you investigate this one

I'm not seeing this. When streaming from mysqueezebox.com if I select my music and then music folder and play a track it just plays, doesn't prompt to switch library. When streaming local music and switching to play Rhapsody its also seamless.

Are you running more than one instance of Squeezebox Server on your network?

I dont intent to stream from mysqueezebox.com. I primarily just want to play my local libary. However instead of showing the local music, it always wants to connect to the mysqueezebox.com library (which I cant disable).

I tried making screenshots to illustrate it better, but it seems that holding pause and rewind doesn't write an image to the SD card anymore.

You last question; I only have one squeezecenter in the network. If I can help you clarify this issue better; let me know. I'd be happy to help.
