Description Todd Voirol 2005-04-12 12:22:43 UTC
In musicmagic it is possible to create custom moods and then generate
playlists based on that mood. Would it be possible for Slimserver to get a
list of all user created moods and then allow the user to generate a dynamic
playlist based on one of those moods?

Musicmagic API doesn't appear to support this according to their documentation:

Has this been brought up with Predixis?

yup, and no reponse. The API says we can acces by filename, or by name.
However, slimserver doesn't scan the location where the mood playlists are
stored. There is also no api for getting the list of names to use. I suppose
the escalation of this would be to file a request with them to serve the list as
they do with filters. I'll post a request.

whicken says is will be added to the list

meanwhile, we could still work to use slimserver playlists as seeds, since moods
really are just playlists. bug1729 is essentially a dupe.

web UI added to trunk at change 6908, player UI already added back at change 6486
