Bugzilla – Bug 13599
last.fm won't allow login (neither app nor Music Service), should respect server settings
Last modified: 2009-08-26 11:53:01 UTC
Currently running on SBS7.4-28198 (Win/svn) and SBS7.4-28235,-28243 (Fedora 11) with SBC r7215: The last.fm "app" (which also seems to provide the last.fm radio Music Service?) won't allow login to last.fm: "403 Forbidden" If last.fm is set in server with username and password, should it not also re-use that information? I originally thought it might have to do with how the password gets encoded, but it also happens after changing the last.fm pw to something just containing digits and letters. If using a password like "this+that", SBC displays "this that" in the confirmation dialog (leaving out the "+", making me suspect some URL encoding), if using a "pre-encoded" version like "this%2Bthat" the display is correct ("this+that") but still no login possible.
If I remember correctly, last.fm radio should also be possible without using an account, but the controller app forces entry of an account.
This is a possible dupe of bug 13536, Andy to investigate

Last.fm is working fine for me on both SN and SC, I've made some changes today so please retest with the latest 7.4 too. Last.fm has always required an account to use it.
