Bugzilla – Bug 13538
Display hardware version on Diagnostic screen
Last modified: 2010-02-02 13:21:25 UTC
With Redboot changes to handle different versions of Realtek phy parts, a way to discern which version of Baby hardware the user has would be important for various functions, such as factory FQC, engineering QA, or support to quickly examine. Richard has suggested displaying a hardware version number within the Settings->Advanced->Diagnostics screen. This number could correspond to the mainboard version number and somehow correspond to Redboot's version. If I recall correctly, a value is incremented in reserved flash to designate this. I think it's 4 if old Realtek part, and 5 if with new one.

Fixed in both MP2 and PLD firmware, all platforms. Mickey, can you get Matt to review the UI. I don't think the hardware revision should be at the top of the screen, please reopen the bug if it needs to moved somewhere in the list.
Moving old Baby bugs to new group. Most of these are probably so old as to be invalid.
