Bugzilla – Bug 13505
Add 5 tone FQC test to firmware
Last modified: 2010-02-02 13:21:30 UTC
Manufacturing would like to get 5 tone FQC test used for Ray into Baby Boom firmware.
Update target
Perhaps someone can create a tone generator that we could put into the firmware? I spoke with Caleb and he felt this was feasible.
Richard, how hard is it to add a tone generator 'decoder' or whatever. I could make a pretty sophistocated tone generator module that takes frequency and amplitude (maybe multiples), and generates tones. -C
There is already a tone generator 'decoder', based on Sean's implementation for ip3k. But really we don't have time for this, lets just add a tone file for MP2.
Created attachment 5719 [details] Stereop Multitone mp3 that plays left, right and both channels Here is a test tone that may be sufficient until a proper tone generating solution is found or made. Please rename the file appropriately and check into firmware if it is suitable. I have the original wav if needed.
== Auto-comment from SVN commit #7315 to the jive repo by ccrome == == https://svn.slimdevices.com/jive?view=revision&revision=7315 == Bug #13505. Added test tone to non-MP branch for testing.
5 tone test added to MP2 fw. This may need to be revisited as DSP and audio code matures. Currently Stereo on headphones is "wonky".
Moving old Baby bugs to new group. Most of these are probably so old as to be invalid.
