Description Michael Herger 2009-08-19 00:27:13 UTC
Firmware r7115 I can't get pass the Enter Password screen. I end up on an empty screen. Log says:

Isn't that error: "Invalid request signature" a sign that this Jive is too old?

Too old in what respect? What would make them fail on SN?
Comment 3 Felix Mueller 2009-08-19 23:52:00 UTC
Don't know, just a wild guess. Andy would probably know better what that error means.
Comment 4 Michael Herger 2009-08-20 00:33:15 UTC
Right:
https://svn.slimdevices.com/network/squeezenetwork/branches/qa/utils/jived/lib/Sprocket/Plugin/Jive/Comet/Registration.pm?view=markup

around line 790: my Controller fails the "# Verify 3rd party controllers trying to register" :-(
Comment 5 Felix Mueller 2009-08-20 00:37:50 UTC
Isn't that the check for a valid UUID? Does you controller have a UUID?
Comment 6 Andy Grundman 2009-08-23 08:23:16 UTC
"Invalid request signature" should only occur for non-hardware clients attempting to use SN registration. Check that the MAC/UUID are correct.
Comment 7 James Richardson 2009-08-24 09:26:07 UTC
Andy has fixed 1 bug associated with this, Michael please retest, then contact Mickey to get a new controller
