Description Jason Holtzapple 2005-04-08 10:43:43 UTC
I noticed if you have a song as part of a saved playlist, it prevents the
original song's album and artist from being set correctly.

For example, see the pink floyd song in one of my playlists

portion of file gamenight.m3u:

/export/music/boards_of_canada/in_a_beautiful_place_out_in_the_country/boards_of_canada_-_in_a_beautiful_place_out_in_the_country_-_01_kid_for_today
.mp3
file:///export/music/pink_floyd/the_wall/pink_floyd_-_the_wall_from_shine_on_box_disc_2.mp3#825.893333333333-1211.6
/export/music/led_zeppelin/physical_graffiti/led_zeppelin_-_physical_graffiti_-_106_kashmir.mp3

After the db is wiped and an initial scan completed, this song shows up
n the Pink Floyd/No Album category, instead of in Pink Floyd/The Wall with the
other album tracks. But there seems to be a problem with the Artist portion, as
it contains both No Artist and Pink Floyd (No Genre is correct as I haven't
defined that)

Title: Comfortably Numb
Artist: No Artist Pink Floyd
Album: No Album

I didn't notice this behavior in 6.0.0, but I couldn't say with certainly if
the bug has been introduced since then. Things were ok in 5.4.1 (this particular
playlist and album have been in my collection unchanged for a while).
