Description James Richardson 2009-08-12 07:42:26 UTC
If I power down the controller using the Power (home) button, it will go to 'sleep' but not power off. After about 30 seconds it will crash and watch dog will cause a reboot.

Serial log only shows; "# s3c2410-wdt: Unexpected close, not stopping watchdog!
Restarting system."

Firmware r7031

r7035 I see this line in serial when I press power to turn the Jive back on

JFFS2 warning: (918) jffs2_sum_write_sumnode: Not enough space for summary, pads
ize = -12

then watch dog kicks in and reboots the player

Comment 3 James Richardson 2009-08-13 13:20:08 UTC
With r7062 - power no longer works on Retail jives.

----------------------------------
PQP3 jives will throw an error when pressing power button

# /sbin/poweroff
starting pid 572, tty '': '/bin/sh'
/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off

Comment 6 James Richardson 2009-08-13 14:43:35 UTC
User 7.3 r6038 the units do go on/off with the button

James, I still can't recreate this, even with the new MP firmware. Does it work for you in the latest builds?
