Description Joerg Schwieder 2009-08-12 07:38:53 UTC
r28114/r28142

I had a failed update this morning because when I updated using
dpkg -i squeezeboxserver_7.4~28142_all.deb

The running Squeezebox Server was not shut down and so the update had no effect.
Stopping the server manually did help.

Then, the new server didn't start automatically, too.
Manually starting it worked fine.

this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.
Comment 4 Joerg Schwieder 2009-08-27 02:56:40 UTC
This still doesn't work with r28193 as an update from r28176
Comment 5 Joerg Schwieder 2009-08-27 07:09:08 UTC
28287 still doesn't work but is worse by starting two instances.
Making sure that Squeezebox Server is not running first: No squeezeboxserve found running; none killed.

is the spelling error in "squeezeboxserve" probably the reason? The old instance is called "squeezebox-server" on my system

current builds of 7.4 are working for me.
Comment 7 Michael Herger 2010-03-03 05:17:50 UTC
Is this still an issue with the latest 7.5 builds?
Comment 8 Joerg Schwieder 2010-03-03 05:26:59 UTC
No.
Comment 9 Chris Owens 2010-03-15 18:06:41 UTC
7.4.x milestone is in the past
Comment 10 Mickey Gee 2011-01-14 10:09:42 UTC
Closing for now. Reopen if still an issue.
