adjust viewing angle
Last modified: 2019-01-25 10:40:18 UTC
Depending on placement of FAB unit users may want to adjust it’s viewing angle up or down (backwards or forwards) for a couple of reasons. - selecting a non-table height location - glare issues at FAB’s fixed position Ideas: - make the FAB’s stand adjustable (probably too late for production anyway), like a ratcheting type stand - include a cheap (but nice looking) black rubber snap on foott to connect to the fixed FAB stand. One such rubber foot (the width of the current fixed rubber foot) could offer two additional viewing angles if rectangular shaped. - if the already included power cable’s farrell “cylindrical thing-a-ma-bob” were just an inch or two further away from the FAB’s power input it could be used as a "foot" to place under the fixed stand (though it would need to be rubber coated to prevent FAB from slipping when using the touch screen). Add a notch to snap onto stand? But I’m guessing the position of this farrell is a fixed distance from the power input for maximum RF interference performance?
It's too late to implement this for Fab4, but we can keep it in mind for future products. It's definitely a good idea.
