fix for bug 7263 adds sleep icon support in the iconbar, but there's no skin support for that in Fab4 yet. Needs doing before 8.0

Noah/Weldon, what is your opinion of this? Should there be a visible sleep icon on Fab4 when sleep is enabled?

I've got a patch to deliver this already, but I'm not sure it's a) necessary and b) looks right where it is.

I'm not operating on any spec for this...just threw it on in a spot where I thought there was room.

I just had a chat with Noah. The current Now Playing screen never was laid out to accommodate Alarm and Sleep icons. There were other layouts that did, but that's not we are currently using.

Noah couldn't figure out how to avoid making Alarm and Sleep appear not "tacked on". I am changing the priority of this bug so that if there's time to modify the layout so it integrates these icons and it looks good, then we can do that.

Just to verify my understanding, this would be an icon to indicate that the sleep timer is running, and that the unit will be shutting itself 'off' soon?
Comment 5 Ben Klaas 2009-12-18 15:36:45 UTC
that's right. IMO this is a non-critical bug. P2 is probably higher than it deserves.

Moving lower-priority bugs to next target
