Bugzilla – Bug 13246
Make it easier/faster to switch from an unavailable library
Last modified: 2011-11-06 23:24:35 UTC
If you go into My Music and you had previously been connected to a library that's now offline, then you have to wait for the "Connecting" screen with spinny to timeout, then choose to switch libraries and then go through the connecting screen again. Since the menu selection to switch libraries is _in_ the My Music menu, there's no way around this, even if you know that the library is unavailable. You're going to have to wait. There's no reason to attempt to connect to the library until you browse or search the library at the next level down, so don't attempt the connection when entering My Music.
Tom: Isn't this something you are already working on?
Probably won't address for 7.4 release since there are two workarounds. 1) Add "Switch Library" to home menu via Settings->Home Menu 2) hit back or home to get to a connection problem window where you can select a different libarary.
this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.
moving current p2 bugs to p3 to make room for moving p1.5 bugs to p2
Administrative move of 7.5 bugs. All P2, P3, P4 being downgraded one level. Will then split P1s.
Moving lower-priority bugs to next target
