Description Toby 2009-08-01 06:18:20 UTC
Both SNR and Signal Strength are available on Baby, but each in a different location:

Settings > Advanced Diagnostics > shows SNR, suggest add Signal Strength

Settings > Advanced > SB Information > SB Radio Info > shows Signal Strength, suggest add SNR

For troubleshooting WiFi issues might be handy to have both pieces of information in both locations.

Ben: would this be yours or Tom's to address?

or would Weldon be a better person to say where these should be listed?
Comment 2 Toby 2009-08-14 10:18:04 UTC
There is now speculation that SNR and Signal Strength are the same, just worded differently in different parts of WiFi menu info. If true, this is a moot bug. Though, if true, might be better to word both Signal Strength so as not to confuse users. :)

this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.
Comment 4 Richard Titmuss 2009-09-08 13:19:14 UTC
This is already fixed, both places should now report signal strength.
