Launch the control panel, (notice it takes ~1 minute to come up)
go to Music Library (notice the mouse becomes very slow
Try to change the Library Name, click OK...control panel will time out
Name does not get changed
System is now very slow and must be rebooted

Is SC running at that time? Don't rely on the control panel, but check the task manager. Could you "telnet localhost 9090", access the web UI?

And what exact revision was this? I added a few optimizations only a few days ago (27886).

Hehe... nice try estimating the time needed to fix this ;-)
