missing MIP icon in Music menu

I'm sorry for the german - but you'll recognize the icons ;-)

Weldon, do you see anything wrong with including the logo for MusicIP? The icon will appear within My Music. I believe the previous version was a generic "M".

If this feature is considered a plugin the attached icon would be preferred over the MusicIP logo which could be confused as an "app".

What's wrong with that?

Sooner or later it will hopefully become an app... The generic plugin icon seems wrong for MIP. Rather the generic M we've been using before.

Reassigning to Weldon for comment. Matt see attached ref artwork - MusicIP "M" icon. This is the exact "m" taken from the MuisicIP logo.

Let's go with a color MusicIP logo in this case. This is definitely an unusual outlier case, for the moment.

Some points to consider:

- MusicIP is not a widely-used service, at least not compared to iTunes etc. We support it mainly because of a small but devoted group of Squeezebox community users. The vast majority of Squeezebox users will never see this icon, but those that DO are quite passionate and deserve a good experience here.

- This will likely be an app eventually anyway, perhaps even in time for Xmas.

- unlike many of the other plug-ins, this one is related to a specific brand with its own existing logo that its users are familiar with. And there is no equivalent "app" to confuse this with at the moment.

Micheal based on Weldon's comments please use:

SVN MasterIcons >icon_music_ip.png

Please define "etc." and give some numbers :-).

Reassigning to Michael to pull in correct asset.

Ben - does this need to be defined in the skin? In SC I'm seeing MIP use the following line when building the Moods menu:

window         => { titleStyle => 'moods' },

this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.
