Bugzilla – Bug 13152
96/24 flacs are not being downsampled to 48/24
Last modified: 2011-11-06 23:25:03 UTC
Not sure for how long it was broken (I've just tried playing 96/24 flacs for the first time), but downsampling on the fly using sox fails because sox (the one which is bundled with the squeezecenter installation btw) bails out with error regarding params passed in. Any extra info/logs available by request. P.S. I'm using Debian/Sid and Squeezecenter/7.4 updated on a daily basis.
Steven: Can you have a look at this one?
this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.
This appears to be working for me with the 7.4 release playing 96/24 flac on Squeezebox Boom on Mac OS X anyway. Nick is this still broken for you? Perhaps this is only a Debian issue?
Yes, unfortunately it is still broken. Quite possible it is Debian specific, even though I do not see anything exotic on xxx@yyyy:~$ ldd /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Bin/i386-linux/sox linux-gate.so.1 => (0xffffe000) libm.so.6 => /lib/i686/cmov/libm.so.6 (0xb8027000) libc.so.6 => /lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6 (0xb7ec8000) /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb8061000)
Nick, what is the latest status of this?
Unassigned bugs cannot have a priority.
