Description Caleb Crome 2009-07-21 16:01:21 UTC
In order to maximize screen life, the screensavers should dim the display.

Going 100% brightness all the time will significantly reduce the life span of the display. A 25% brightness (in terms of actual, not perceived brightness) will be somewhat dimmer, but significantly extend the life span of the LEDs.

The LEDs at 100% brightness loose approximately 20% of their brightness after 6 months of continuous operation.

Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any
player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's
specific to the single original product.

Richard has added code to auto-magicaly reduce the brightness after X seconds
