We decided that since we don't have enough batteries in the field being tested, we'll turn the units off if powered from battieres alone, for the MP firmware.

The 7.4 (i.e. first upgrade) will re-enable battery usage.

Checked in to hardware rev r6258.

Checked in to MP 6732.

Accidentally checked in to fab4/6731, so it's checked in to both places.  Sorry about that.   Richard, if this causes a problem, you can put fab4 back the way it was.


Otherwise, it won't hurt anything for now, except maybe rico's testing.

I'll get to fixing this properly after crossover stuff is implemented.
