Description Jim McAtee 2009-07-18 16:54:31 UTC
Occasionally in the touch interface I notice long menu items scrolling horizontally, implying that the item is considered current/selected. This is very odd looking when you consider that there should be no concept of a current item in the touch interface menu - they're all equal.

To reproduce:

- Browse albums.
- Find an album with a name wider than the screen.
- When you first scroll to the screen containing the album, the title will not scroll.
- Select the album, and it moves right into the track list.
- Press the BACK button.
- The album name will now be scrolling.

Maybe the simple fix is to just never scroll menu items in the touch ui.

The same thing happens with tracks in the track listing after you've selected the track to play the album.

- Browse into an album, pulling up the track listing. Almost all of them will be wider than the screen (depending a little on your title format).
- No items are scrolling.
- Touch a track to play it and you automatically move into Now Playing.
- Touch BACK.
- The track that you touched to play will now be scrolling.
