Description Alan Sparks 2005-04-02 15:26:07 UTC
If an MP3 has no album tag, the fishbone skin still displays an album for that
MP3 in the playlist. It appears that perhaps the album displayed is from a
previous album in the playlist. If the MP3 has an associated album tag, it is
displayed correctly, but if not, it inherits an album. It appears that all MP3s
without an album tag inherits the same default album tag.

have you tried other skins? the album object shouldn't be skin dependant.
Comment 2 Alan Sparks 2005-04-02 19:48:02 UTC
Indeed, it is wrong when I switch to other skins. So maybe this needs to be
reassigned to a more appropriate category.

I'm not actually able to reproduce this. i have tried using TITLE as the
titleformat, and the album link is missing for files that dont have an album
tag. i have also tried a titleformat that includes album, in which case the
missing album tag shows up as "No Album". This is when looking at the current
playlist side. a screen shot will help, please attach to the bug report. also,
a sample song that produces the problem may also help.

Please also consider trying the latest nightly and rescanning if you have not
already. plus, are you using itunes, moodlogic or musicmagic?

Alan: Can you reproduce this with the latest nightly? If so, please reopen the bug.
