Description Mikael Nyberg 2009-07-16 21:06:59 UTC
Alarm wipes the current playing playlist:

When the alarm goes off, in my case "random song" the playlist that was before the alarm is gone.

When canceling the alarm, the player should return to it's previous playlist, but in stopped mode.

This behaviour is by design.
Comment 2 Sue Chastain 2009-07-17 11:40:32 UTC
How is an enhancement request invalid? I have often wanted to be able to use a separate alarm playlist without losing the current playlist.

This behaviour is by design."

OK then the design is wrong, this *is* a flawed behavior.

How can this "enhancement" be invalid, there are lot more far fetched enhancement request lingering here, that probably never going to be resolved ?
This is quite straightforward, it can be made an option, if someone prefer the current behavior .
