fwd rew now work like Controller as of r6627. Still needs skinning. Assigning to Ben.

Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any
player based on that application code.  Feel free to move it back if it's
specific to the single original product.

Noah, I could use a little guidance on this one...the attached ref screen is close to what I need to do, but the popup should say "Song Position" and I don't think the FWD icon is correct for the song scanner popup (e.g., press-hold of either the fwd or rew button will bring this window up, so having the icon pointing the other direction might not be quite right)

Can we have 2 icons for rew and ffwd?  Not sure I understand the problem correctly...

FWIW both icon_popup_box_rew and icon_popup_box_fwd are in the svn directory.

This popup should not be triggered on touch, only remote and other interfaces.  Touch feedback should simply be a change in the position of the progress bar.

Oops, disregard my previous comment, I read through too quickly.

Is there any reason why ff and rew HAVE to have the same popup?  Why can't we have one for ff and one for rew?  How hard would it be to make the change?

On all UIs except touch, the only way to trigger this is via ff or rew press-and-hold, so it seems like they could/should be displayed as separate popups.

(I'm sort of repeating Noah's question I guess)

fixed in r6759 for QVGAlandscape skin

WQVGA skins are not to any spec, but passable for now. Will open a separate bug to track that.

Whoa, this wasn't what I was suggesting at all!  Sorry Ben.  This can do for the moment I guess but eventually we need to really "fix" this (making it a P2 since I know there is tons of other work to do).

What I suggested to Noah was that, for the controller wheel, we'd use this solution.

But for dedicated ff/rew buttons on all devices, we need a ff logo, and a rew logo, respectively.

Please respond to comments 6 and 4 when you get a chance...

this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.

I think there's some confusion on this bug-- song scanning is not explicitly ffw or rew, so putting a ffw or rew icon in the popup doesn't make much sense.

Weldon, can you review with a 7.4 SBRadio and/or Controller and tell me if what we're delivering is okay or not? If not, I'll need a clear description of what should be shown when bringing up the song scanning popup.
