Bugzilla – Bug 12841
Multi-disc album artwork not showing
Last modified: 2009-08-02 17:30:59 UTC
The past few months of 7.4 beta releases do not load the artwork for multi disc albums (albums using the DISCNUMBER tag). This works correctly in 7.3.3 and the artwork is only needed to be present in the folder of the files that have the FLAC tag DISCNUMBER=1 set. The artwork is not shown in SqueezeCenter, nor in the Controller. The artwork is consistenly missing for all multi disc albums and preent for all single disc albums. The following SqueezeCenter "Music Library" setting is required to reproduce the problem: "Group Discs" = "Treat multi-disc sets as multiple albums". I am also using a special naming for my artwork file. This may possibly be required to repeat the problem. The SqueezeCenter "Advanced / Formatting" setting "Artwork" = "artwork.jpg". (Artwork Folder is unchanged -- blank in mycase). You also need an album stored in two folders, for instance: e:\music\Pink Floyd\The Wall (Disc 1)\ e:\music\Pink Floyd\The Wall (Disc 2)\ where the artwork is stored ONLY in the first folder: e:\music\Pink Floyd\The Wall (Disc 1)\artwork.jpg All FLAC files in the two folders have the DISCNUMBER tag set correctly (1 or 2 respectively). Again, let me emphasize that this WORKS in the latest official 7.3 release, so apparently it is a 7.4 beta bug.
Moving all SQLite-related bugs to 8.0.
