When you choose a new player to be controlled by fab4, it does not turn off the old player. Now that the controlled player's power is linked to fab4's, it makes sense to turn a player off as you move on to control another one.

This isn't quite as simple as it first sounds. What if the player is playing at the time? What if the player was already on when it started being controlled by the fab4? Maybe the simplest way is to display a prompt "turn xxxx off before switching to yyyyy?"

I think this is particularly important as the new ui, whilst working great, offers no way to turn off a player that isn't the one currently being controlled.

The consensus at the bug meeting is that it doesn't make sense to implement this, but I'll pass it to our UI wizard for the final word.

This last part will probably be addressed after 7.4 as we improve multi-device behaviors.

But I disagree with the basic premise; switching to control another player doesnt necessarily mean you automatically want the previous one to power off.
