Description Mickey Gee 2009-07-11 21:21:18 UTC
In firmware r6526, when I play any Rhapsody track the Baby will crash and reboot. Once it reboots, it returns back to attempting to play the same Rhapsody track and will crash again.

The above scenario repeats until I unplug the power and factory reset the Baby. Pressing any front panel buttons will not stop this from repeating.

This normally happens when an audio stream that is causing a crash is queued up. The device will reboot, attempt to start the stream and crash again.

Clearing the now playing queue from SC/SN will stop the reboot-crash loop

You can also leave your player unplugged for a couple of minutes.

The problem here is after a brief reboot the player tries to restart the stream. Normally this would be the desired behaviour, but if the stream is causing the crash the system gets stuck in a loop.

I am not sure changing the behaviour is right, this bug will go away once other crashers are fixed.

These bugs have all been marked resolved and belong to a component which is being removed. Therefore they have been moved to the most applicable of the new components.
