using r6526, playing any content. press home button to get to the now playing page. Press the Knob to get to the Info screen, and notice nothing happens.

This happens on PB2 and PA5

Would that be yours, Ben or Tom's?
Comment 2 James Richardson 2009-07-12 08:14:34 UTC
Actually: I think it's Richards, as this may be another example of the MCU being bad. A reboot fixed the issue.

Does the knob work? If the knob works, it's definitely not the mcu.
Comment 4 James Richardson 2009-07-12 10:16:57 UTC
I'll have to wait for it to get back into that state, then I can verify if the knob goes up or down
Comment 5 Richard Titmuss 2009-07-13 14:50:24 UTC
james, this works for me. it's most likely an application bug.

the mcu only does knob rotation, not the knob press. if you see this again on the serial console do:
    evtest /dev/input/event1&

when you press the knob the kernel is working fine if you see lines like:
Event: time 1247525342.588187, type 1 (Key), code 106 (Right), value 1
Event: time 1247525342.703576, type 1 (Key), code 106 (Right), value 0

in that case it's an application error, otherwise assign back to me.
