The auto-volume-change for the store demo should ramp down, rather than jump immediately down.

The auto-level is also very low.  Is that adjustable?  Is that new lowness a result of the new volume ramp?

Default volume seems to be 43 at boot on a PB1, then jumps down to 20 on auto-reset after being at 100.

On a PA5 unit, it starts at 20.  

Why that?

Testing r6525 I do not see this behavior.  One note...there is a 30 second delay on Volume Save.  if you change the vol, and wait <30 sec then reboot the the baby, the volume will be at the pre-changed level
