Description jesse5842 2009-07-07 22:17:12 UTC
When i set the screen saver setting in the squuezebox duet remote to show the now playing screen with large album artwork it works. If i leave the controller for a day and come back to it and play some music it doesn't work, however if i go into the advanced settings and choose small album art display and then imeadietly click back onto large album art the screen saver begins to work again. If i come back to the remote the next day i experience the problem all over again and if i follow the procedure listed above it begins to work again. This is quite irritating and hopefully something can be done.

What version of firmware is on your controller

Please define 'doesn't work'
Comment 2 jesse5842 2009-07-09 17:39:34 UTC
What i mean by it does not work is that if i come back to the remote and listen to music the next day the now playing screen saver does not engage all that happens is eventually the screen dims as it should. However if i go into the settings, screen, screen savers, now playing artwork size and choose small album art display and then immediately click back onto large album art the screen saver begins to work again.

Has there been any progress on this bug yet.

I am still unable to replicate this issue. Please factory reset your SB Controller. Does this change the behavior of the error?

You may also wish to verify with 7.4 once the SBC firmware becomes more stable.

this is an administrative shuffle on priority fields to help make better judgment on the top end of the priority list. P4->P5, P3->P4, and P2->P3.

This appears to be much improved in r7262, please retest with that version and
provide feedback.

You can download the latest nightly, which will then update your player to the latest firmware. Please be advised this is a beta firmware/software, so your mileage may differ.
