When listening to internet radio, SBS displays some random album art from some of my music collection.

Screen grab attached.

Does it do this for all stations or just a few?

Does this happen all the time or only have an event?

Step by Step instructions on how to reproduce this would be good.

Does not always happen, sometimes i just get an oversized music note icon, but it happens more often than not.

I dont think i have seen it with radiotime feeds which have artwork metadata displayed, they are usually ok. Here is a feed it happens with often - http://bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r4.asx

The actual artwork that gets displayed seems to change after a rescan or server restart, but after that its usually the same artwork that gets displayed. It usually art from one of the first albums in my collection.

Oh, just to add - i have not seen the generic internet radio transmitter icon anywhere for a log time.

Try this station, let me know if it has the same issue or not:

No, thats fine - shows the images sent by radiotime. I think its just feeds that dont have any associated artwork to begin with.

Andy: your thoughts?
Comment 8 Andy Grundman 2009-07-07 14:37:29 UTC
Alan: Maybe related to metadata changes?

Moving 7.4 bugs to 8.0.
