Description Blackketter Dean 2009-07-02 13:30:49 UTC
for both baby, controller and fab4-remote UI.
Comment 1 Jim McAtee 2009-07-02 13:57:06 UTC
Ugh, that's the last thing I want as the top most selection on the Home menu. Make it removable and I don't really care.

IMO, Now Playing on Fab4 should

- be a configurable selection in Home Menu settings
- be set by default to 'On'
- never appear on the touch Home menu, because of the NP button
- appear on the remote Home menu only if set to 'On'

By making it configurable, it could be removed from the remote UI Home menu. It's not actually needed in remote UI due to the function of the remote's Home button.

It is removable, and every one of those comments is both fully supported already and not related to this bug.

This bug is only about where it gets placed in the home menu. That is, first rather than second.
Comment 3 Jim McAtee 2009-07-02 14:18:26 UTC
I don't see Now Playing anywhere under Settings > Home Menu. How is it removed from the remote Home menu?
Comment 4 Jim McAtee 2009-07-02 14:19:51 UTC
Ok, I see it on Baby, but not on Fab4.
Comment 5 Ben Klaas 2009-07-13 20:55:10 UTC
this is fixed on a separate branch, r6548, and can be verified after that branch is merged back to the 7.4/Fab4 branch. We are not currently checking into the main branch until MPQ milestone is complete.

This bug has been fixed in the latest release of MySqueezebox.com (formally
known as SqueezeNetwork)!
