Description James Richardson 2009-07-01 10:07:28 UTC
The following are left behind:

ProgramData\SqueezeCenter
ProgramFiles\SqueezeCenter
users\all users\squeezecenter

James - that's mostly a deliberate decision I took: don't remove logs and some other files which might help post-uninstall debugging or migration. The installer does remove most of the bulky stuff in the cache folder though.

As for the ProgramFiles\SqueezeCenter folder - what was left in there? IMHO there should nothing be left in a standard installation.
Comment 2 James Richardson 2009-07-02 05:58:29 UTC
Correct, there was nothing left in the folder, but having an empty folder there may confuse some novice users, or even our Tier 1 Support.

I don't see a 'problem' with leaving the files there, I was just thinking of customer experience.

In some discussion about migrations code we decided _not_ to remove those files/folders in case some files were still needed. "disk space is cheap"
