The forum is full of people/threads like this. Where people have moved to 'static' IP on the SBC/SBR/SC and it drastically improves the experience.

Is there anything we can do to address this? or improve it at all.  As an aside, I have noticed the exact same behavior on all SqueezeOS based devices,  when I have a 'static' IP they connect almost right away.  When I rely on DHCP, it takes between 15-90 seconds to go from Blue to White.

We agree that if this is still an issue, it needs to be addressed.  However, it's concerning that the recent firmware updates solve the same set of symptoms.

We need to continue looking at this for reproducible cases and bear in mind that there may be some forum threads and even new reports from people who have not upgraded to the 7.3.3 bug.
