Bugzilla – Bug 12615
aoTuV encoded ogg files not fully supported
Last modified: 2009-10-05 14:27:15 UTC
Created attachment 5392 [details] Samples (Vanilla ogg + aoTuV version) Ogg files encoded using vanilla oggenc encoder are weel supported by SC. But files encoded using aoTuV alternate encoder are not correctly handled: I discover this while trying to seek in the file: SC then jumps to the next track in the playlist. The log indicates "Slim::Player::Squeezebox2::statHandler (121) Error: 00:04:20:07:b7:1e: Decoder does not support file format, code 103" (the decoder thinks that the file is not a ogg file, as I have been told, see http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65087). As far as I know, aoTuV generated files are correct ogg files (supported on any other software I use). Also, I am using a SB3 (I do not know if it is related to SC or SB3). I've uploaded 2 ogg files (1 vanilla + 1 aoTuV) from the same source (from opensound.org) that exhibit the problem for me.
Fixed in Audio::Scan 0.25.
