The firmware download uses the streaming timeout of 5 seconds by default, which can cause downloads to fail (seen on my system from home on the .bin files).  When this happens, the partial result is returned as a success.

I suspect that the timeout needs to be increased dramatically for firmware downloads and when the timeout happens, an error should be propagated up.
