In Software Update settings, I have "Software Updates" and "Automatic download" set to not check for updates.

In my log, I see:

[00:28:04.0019] Slim::Utils::Update::getUpdateInstaller (246) Reading update installer path from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Squeezebox Server\Cache\updates\server.version

Is Squeezebox Server still looking for updates periodically, even when both options are disabled?

change 27281 - don't initialize the update code if checkVersion is not set.

This bug has been marked as fixed in the 7.4.0 release version of SqueezeBox Server!
