Description Keith Hylton 2009-06-18 13:14:20 UTC
After using the Power Icon to turn SBT "Off", the SBT was no longer in the SC "Select Player" Drop Down Menu.

Specific situation: Tapped the "Power Icon" at about 20:00 to turn SBT Off. At about 14:15 the following day went to turn the SBT on from the SC WebUI and found the SBT to be missing from the Player Drop Down menu. Went to the player and tapped the Power Icon and the player was at the NP screen. Went back to SC WebUI and still no SBT in the Player Drop Down menu.

The SBT also was no longer showing on the PB1 SBT. So I went to control the PB2 SBT locally from the front panel thinking it might be on SN. The SBT was still on SC (not running Tiny SC). It showed it was connected to the beta SC Server that I was trying to select it from in the drop down menu. No clicking, tapping, or selecting in SC or on the SBT made the SBT show back up in the drop down.

Did a reset to the SBT from the NP screen. The SBT returned from the reset to a blank screen. I waited about 2 minutes with a blank screen then tapped the screen. The Power Icon appeared in the upper left corner. I tapped the Icon, the player returned to the NP screen. The SBT was now in the SC WebUI Player Drop Down menu. Turning it On and Off, it remained in the Drop Down menu.

This may be related to (or be fixed by) a fix put in r6224, where in particular cases (but not specifically related to power situations), the player would not appear on the server.

Moving to the product SqueezePlay because this bug appears to apply to any
player based on that application code. Feel free to move it back if it's
specific to the single original product.

Keith have you had a chance to see if Tom's fix in comment 1 helped?

Thanks!
