I propose that we leave the slide show in the factory test but kill the password and make it exitable.

I also propose that a magic key combination will start the slide show. That same magic key combination (or a factory reset) will exit.

How's that sound?

Sorry to seem resistant to seemingly everything, but what is it we're solving with this?

Isn't a magic key combination to enter essentially a password, and isn't the magic key combination to escape effectively a factory reset?

What is it about the current implementation that is inferior to what's being proposed here?

Please decide on the direction this bug should take? QA is happy with the way the demo works now.

Updating summary to reflect remaining action items

1. add volume popup UI

2. after 30 seconds of idle time and the volume is beyond a threshold (we'll begin with this at 60), ramp the volume down to 20

r6476 IMO completes this bug

we don't have Czech strings, but I can add those if I'm delivered them...doesn't hold up closing the bug.

These bugs have all been marked resolved and belong to a component which is being removed. Therefore they have been moved to the most applicable of the new components.
